Looking for actual data on residential VAWTs

Since the average homeowner or tenent, does not have acres of land on to which they could erect a tower or large pole for a HAWT, Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine, I set my focus on VAWT's, Vertical Axis Wind Turbines which would appear to not require near the level of clearance and installtion issues.

I'd like some feedback from anyone who has a VAWT installed, such as the ECO1200 by Windterra or the Windspire by Mariah. How well do they perform? What installation issues did you encounter? If you live in a cold climate, were there any icing issues? You get the idea.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
